If you’re approaching Carrapateira from Aljezur or Lagos, take the main road and keep an eye out for the “Carrapateira” sign. Once you spot it, turn right at the crossroads immediately after the sign. Follow the clear directions to “Bordeira” Beach. If you pass Carrapateira Town, you’ve gone too far.

For those journeying from Sagres or Vila do Bispo, as you pass through Carrapateira Town, and as you approach the same crossroads, the “Bordeira Beach” sign will guide you, now indicating a left turn.

After turning at the crossroads, drive on a further 800 metres and Casa Presente is on the right. Park your car on the left, across from the Casa Presente Guesthouse, and step into tranquility.
